MEET EMILY LOVE | Owner, Lead Planner
Born and raised in Kansas City, I am a firm believer in pearl earrings, fresh flowers and late-night crafting. My love affair with events started at age six when I became a self-appointed party planner. I commandeered my grandmother's Christmas tinsel to adorn the back porch and emptied the fridge to create a buffet spread for my grandpa's birthday. Perhaps growing up with the last name of “Love,” it comes as no surprise that I gravitated towards planning love story celebrations. Since then, my skills have grown with experience in non-profit event-planning, coordinating at a distinguished Kansas City event studio, serving as a church wedding coordinator, and planning copious events on the side.
There's something about celebrating that makes my heart dance and feel right at home. I love that each detail--from invitations to decorations to menus to toasts--points to a bigger reality. It is an honor and joy to have an insider view to these sacred moments in a couple's life with the people they love.
When I’m not event planning, you can find me wandering the Target dollar aisle, dreaming up dinner party tablescapes, scouting recipes with Mama Love, escaping to the Rockies, or gathering around the table with family and friends.
